DESCRIPTION: DESCRIPTION: Set in a beautifully converted 1930s warehouse, the museum was founded in 1989 with the intention of offering an insight into the role design plays in our everyday lives from the origins of mass production to the present day. The founder of the Museum was Sir Terence Conran, the driving force behind the Boilerhouse design project.
