TITLE: Great Glass House 3
LOCATION: Carmarthenshire, South West Wales
DESCRIPTION: The National Botanic Garden of Wales was the first national botanic garden to open in the 21st century, anywhere in the world, and the first to be created in the UK for more than 200 years. It is situated on 568 acres of regency estate in Llanarthne; high in the hills of the beautiful Towy Valley in Carmarthenshire, South West Wales. The site comprises landscaped grounds, walled gardens, ornamental woodlands, six artificial lakes and a stable block. The Garden’s centrepiece attraction is its Great Glass House, design by the eminent architect, Sir Norman Foster.
